The DuraPost capping rail is designed to top off your fence panels, completing the look while matching the rest of your DuraPost fence posts, post caps and gravel boards. It combines the strength of steel with the appearance of timber, giving a fence line that's stronger, lighter and faster to install than traditional materials.
A common question when fitting a capping rail is what it's actually for beyond appearance, and the answer is practical as much as visual: this DuraPost capping rail has a weathered profile that aids water run off from the top of the panel, which significantly helps prolong the life of the panels below by reducing the amount of standing water sitting on the fence line.
Sizing and colour options
The DuraPost capping rail measures 65mm wide and is available in three lengths, 1.83m, 2.45m and 3.0m, so it can be matched to your panel widths. It comes in four colours, Anthracite Grey, Sepia Brown, Olive Grey and Black, allowing you to match it with other DuraPost components for a coordinated finish.
Installation guidance
The capping rail fits along the top of your fence panels, between or over your DuraPost posts, depending on your layout.
