DuraPost Post Cap for a Neat Finish

The DuraPost post cap is a durable steel cap designed to finish any post neatly, completing the look of your DuraPost fence line. It's made up of a plastic sleeve foundation cap which is then over capped with a steel four way weathered top, giving a tidy, weatherproof finish across the post.

A common question when fitting a post cap is why a four way weathered design matters, and the answer is that the sloped, multi-angled top helps shed rainwater off the post in every direction rather than letting it pool on a flat surface, which helps protect the post over time. This DuraPost post cap is easy to fit, making it a quick finishing touch once your fence posts are in place.

Sizing and colour options

Each DuraPost post cap measures 75mm x 75mm (3" x 3") and is available in five colours, Galvanised Metal, Anthracite Grey, Sepia Brown, Olive Grey and Black, so you can match it to the rest of your DuraPost fence line or accessories.

Installation guidance

To fit, the plastic sleeve foundation is placed over the post first, with the steel four way weathered cap then fitted on top to complete the look. Worcester Timber Products has a short video on the page showing both recommended methods of fitting, which is worth watching if you're fitting these for the first time. For a complete DuraPost fence finish, take a look at our DuraPost capping rail and DuraPost u-channel.

Priced from £2.03 to £4.10 depending on colour, the DuraPost post cap is available to order online or from our Worcestershire yard.
