An attractive entrance gate for any garden, the European made Elite Cross Top gate makes a strong statement. Made from pressure treated timber, these gates have mortice and tenon construction and designed to compliment the Elite Cross Top panels. The gates have vertical bottom boards, topped with an unusual criss-cross and vertical bar effect.
The gates and panels are best used with smooth planed pine posts, but can also be used with rough sawn and DuraPost. If using timber, an additional consideration to lengthen the lifespan of the post, is to use postsaver sleeves. A range of hinges, gate furniture, treatments and other essential accessories are available in our hardware collection.
As the timber is pressure treated, it is guaranteed against rot and decay (fungi) for 10 years. To further preserve and extend the life of your building, we recommend it is treated with an appropriate preservative, and repeated per manufacturer guidelines. Worcester Timber Products are an authorised stockist of OSMO. Recommended products include a UV Protection Oil which is a clear satin protection, ideal to protect your shed against harmful UV rays; it also enhances the look by bringing out the grains of the wood. Other products include an all-in-one translucent Natural Oil wood stain, and an Eco-friendly Country Colour satin wood finish range, with multiple colour options to suit your style and preferences.
