Side storage shed, pent roof slope left to right
Reference: Astley Side Shed Categories: , , Brand:

Manufactured by hand, our experienced shed builders at Worcester Timber Products produce a wide range of classic designs, contemporary and modern, using the highest quality materials. The Astley side shed is available in variety of sizes, has a Pent roof (sloping from Left to right), single door and no windows for the ultimate in security. Finished with high quality ironmongery in a black finish.  The side shed is perfect for those who benefit from often unusable space to the side of a house; great for secure and weatherproof storage of garden equipment, bikes, toys and more.

Construction & Cladding

With premium cladding, the interlocking tongue and groove boards slot together to provide a seamless appearance whilst the additional protective lip helps rain run off quickly. This high-quality cladding has a smooth and attractive finish, making it a focal point to any garden or outdoor space. Each length of cladding is double nailed using stainless steel nails for extra strength and durability.

The heavy-duty construction means that our sheds are more rigid, more weatherproof and have a longer lifespan. The framework is robust, made from all rounded planed timber framing provides a smooth professional finish to the interior of the shed. For shed sizes up to and including 8 x 8ft, the CLS framing used is a 2 x 2 (50mm x 50mm).  The Height is 7ft 6" to the highest point (left side) and 6ft'6 at the lowest (right side), an ideal height for access, storage, privacy and security.

Roofing material

Fitted with 24kg Polyester charcoal shed felt, our roofing felt is a high quality economical weatherproofing membrane. The polyester results in a stronger and more durable product compared with standard shed felt, it also increases life expectancy of the product although this varies greatly dependent to exposure of weather elements and quality of installation.

As part of our standard service, your shed will be fitted with a Brenton Padbolt, suitable for most padlocks, in addition we will also fit medium tee hinges to the doors. Our Ironmongery is robustly made by well known manufacturers of gate products, in black finish so is very durable and can withstand rough weather conditions. Should you require a more high security lock, we recommend a 6 pin lock barrel from Gatemate.  This has a stainless-steel shoot and supplied with 5 keys.  Add this to your basket and we will fit this complimentary for you.

All our timber is pressure treated, guaranteed against rot and fungi for 15 years.
