Pan Head Self Drilling Screw for DuraPost
This pan head screw for DuraPost is a self drilling fixing designed to secure timber fencing panels and composite gravel boards onto the DuraPost steel post system. DuraPost itself is the stylish, secure and easy to maintain galvanised steel post system suitable for virtually any type of fencing, and this screw is sized to suit it.
Each pan head screw for DuraPost measures 4.8 x 16mm and is finished in Ruspert Silver, giving a neat appearance once driven into place. Being self drilling, it cuts its own pilot hole as it goes in, so there's no need to pre-drill before fitting timber panels or gravel boards to the post.
A common question when planning a DuraPost fence is how many screws are needed, and as a guide, approximately one bag of 10 screws covers one DuraPost fencing post, which makes it easier to work out total quantities for a full fence run.
Pack size and use
This pan head screw for DuraPost is sold in bags of 10, suitable for both timber fencing panels and composite gravel boards, making it a versatile fixing across most parts of a DuraPost installation.
Installation guidance
To fit, simply drive the screw directly through the timber panel or gravel board into the DuraPost steel section using a standard screwdriver bit, no pre-drilling required. For a complete DuraPost setup, take a look at our DuraPost u-channel and DuraPost post caps.
Priced at £2.40 per bag of 10, the pan head screw for DuraPost is available to order online or from our Worcestershire yard.
