Areley Kings Apex Garden Shed
The Areley Kings is a high pitched, classically detailed apex garden shed, handmade to order by experienced craftsmen at Worcester Timber Products. It's well-built garden building designed to be a real feature of your outdoor space, equally suited to storing tools, garden equipment and general household items.
Heavy duty construction runs throughout. The 70 x 50mm rounded planed CLS framework gives a smooth, professional interior finish, with a 22 x 125mm matchboard floor (finished 19 x 120mm) and 16 x 125mm matchboard for the roof and door (finished 12 x 120mm). The smooth planed shiplap cladding uses the same material, with interlocking tongue and groove boards that slot together for a seamless appearance, each length double nailed with stainless steel nails. A 24kg polyester charcoal felt is fitted as standard across the roof, which is significantly more durable than conventional shed felt and increases the overall life expectancy of the building. The single door comes fitted with traditional medium tee hinges, tamperproof screws and a brenton padbolt.
The natural light let in by the window makes the shed far easier to work in and keeps the space feeling usable rather than just a dark storage area. On this apex garden shed the window is optional, available on the left or right side, so you can choose the position that suits your garden layout.
Sizing and specification
Available in 11 sizes from 4 x 6ft up to 6 x 8ft, with the single door available left or right hanging. All timber is pressure treated and guaranteed against rot and decay for 10 years. To further preserve and extend the life of your building, treating it with a quality exterior wood preservative is recommended, repeated per manufacturer guidelines. We are an authorised OSMO stockist and stock a range of suitable exterior treatment products.

A firm, level concrete or slab base of at least the floor size is essential before installation begins.

Warranty
All our timber is pressure treated and guaranteed against rot and decay (fungi) for 10 years. To extend the life of your apex garden shed further, we recommend treating it with an appropriate exterior preservative per manufacturer guidelines. As authorised OSMO stockists, we recommend their UV Protection Oil, Natural Oil wood stain or Country Colour satin finish range.
Important considerations
Your base must be firm, level and at least the size of the shed floor. We always recommend concrete or slabs. Our installation teams use vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and will need direct vehicle access to your property for several hours. If you're in a controlled parking zone, please arrange a permit in advance. There must be no overhead obstructions such as branches, cables or arches. Please advise us of any issues before production so changes can be made in time.
If the assembly team considers the site unsuitable on the day and you choose to proceed, you accept responsibility for the structural integrity of the building and indemnify Worcester Timber Products against any future issues. If the team must leave before completion for reasons beyond their control, no refunds are applicable and additional charges may be levied.
