Durapost Cover Strip

For Post & U-Channel

Price range: £3.96 through £10.91

DuraPost Cover Strip for a Neat Finish

A DuraPost cover strip is fitted to the rear of a DuraPost post or U-Channel to hide fixing holes and screws, giving a clean, uniform finish on both sides of the fence. This matters if your fence backs onto a neighbour's garden or a public footpath, since it means everyone sees the same tidy finish, not just the side facing your own garden.

This cover strip is available in four colours, Anthracite Grey, Olive Grey, Sepia Brown and Black, so it can be matched to the colour of your existing DuraPost fence. It's also a practical way to update the look of older galvanised posts, since the cover strip can be fitted over plain steel to bring in a new colour without replacing the whole post.

Sizing and fitting

Supplied at 2100mm (7ft) long, the cover strip can be easily cut down to the length you need, and works with both the classic DuraPost post and the DuraPost U-Channel. A common question is whether a cover strip can be added after a fence has already been installed, and the answer is yes, it's designed as a simple add-on fitted later using flat headed screws and the cover strip's plastic slot guides.

Installation guidance

To fit, the cover strip slides over the plastic slot guide already attached to the post, locking neatly into place and adding a layer of extra security over the fixings.

For matching accessories, take a look at our DuraPost touch up spray and DuraPost U-Channel.

Priced from £3.96 to £10.91, the DuraPost cover strip is in stock now. Order online or visit our Worcestershire yard.
