A DuraPost cover strip is fitted to the rear of a DuraPost post or U-Channel to hide fixing holes and screws, giving a clean, uniform finish on both sides of the fence. Supplied at 2100mm (7ft) long, the cover strip can be easily cut down to the length you need, and works with both the classic DuraPost post and the DuraPost U-Channel. A common question is whether a cover strip can be added after a fence has already been installed, and the answer is yes, it's designed as a simple add-on fitted later using flat headed screws and the cover strip's plastic slot guides.
Installation guidance
To fit, the cover strip slides over the plastic slot guide already attached to the post, locking neatly into place and adding a layer of extra security over the fixings.
