The Cookley is a heavy duty, handmade pent shed with double doors and two framed PERSPEX windows, giving you the best combination of wide access and natural light in one building. Whether you need to move large equipment in and out through double doors or simply want to work comfortably in a naturally lit space, this shed delivers both without compromise.

Two framed windows, one either side of the double doors, ensure a well-lit interior across the full width of the building. The PERSPEX clear cast acrylic glazing has outstanding clarity, a high gloss surface and is harder wearing than glass, carrying virtually no colour bias. Construction and materials

The framework uses 70 x 50mm rounded planed CLS timber for a smooth, professional interior finish. The floor is 22 x 125mm matchboard (finished 19 x 120mm), the roof and door use 16 x 125mm matchboard (finished 12 x 120mm), and the shiplap cladding is 16 x 125mm (finished 12 x 120mm), all double nailed with stainless steel nails. All sheds are fitted with 24kg polyester charcoal felt. The double door opens outwards and is fitted with tee hinges, tamperproof screws, a brenton padbolt and tower bolts in a black finish. A 70mm long throw 6-pin barrel lock from the GATEMATE range can be added to your basket and fitted at no extra charge.

Sizing and installation

This pent shed with double doors is available in 20 sizes from 8 x 4ft up to 12 x 10ft, with sizes measured as gable end width followed by depth. All timber is pressure treated and carries a 15 year guarantee against rot and decay. We stock a range of OSMO exterior timber treatment products to help protect and extend the life of the building. A firm, level concrete base is required before installation begins.

Warranty

All our timber is pressure treated and guaranteed against rot and decay (fungi) for 10 years. To extend the life of your shed further, we recommend treating it with an appropriate exterior preservative per manufacturer guidelines. Important considerations

Your base must be firm, level and at least the size of the shed floor. We always recommend concrete or slabs. Our installation teams use vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and will need direct vehicle access to your property for several hours. If you're in a controlled parking zone, please arrange a permit in advance. There must be no overhead obstructions such as branches, cables or arches. Please advise us of any issues before production so changes can be made in time.

If the assembly team considers the site unsuitable on the day and you choose to proceed, you accept responsibility for the structural integrity of the building and indemnify Worcester Timber Products against any future issues. If the team must leave before completion for reasons beyond their control, no refunds are applicable and additional charges may be levied.
