Timber Gate Post – Tanalised, 4-Way Weather Top
Built to support and protect your garden or driveway gate, our Timber Gate Posts are pressure-treated (Tanalised) for long-lasting durability against rot, decay, and the demands of the British climate. Each post features a 4-way chamfered top, designed to shed rainwater efficiently and prevent water ingress that can lead to splitting or weathering over time.
Available in four sizes — 8ft (2400 x 125 x 125mm), 8ft (2400 x 150 x 150mm), 10ft (3000 x 125 x 125mm), and 10ft (3000 x 150 x 150mm) — there's a gate post to suit projects of every scale, from light garden gates to heavier-duty entrance gates.
For maximum strength and stability, we recommend sinking at least one-third of the post's length into the ground, secured with a quality postmix concrete. Finished in a classic Tanalised green, these posts blend naturally into any garden or boundary setting while standing up to years of outdoor exposure.
