Q-Clad rebated featheredge is a factory painted cladding board made from slow grown Scandinavian whitewood, finished with a fine sawn surface and two coats of paint, one primer and one top coat, applied under controlled factory conditions for a smooth, even finish. It's supplied in Black, Grey or White, giving a clean, modern look for cladding projects without the need to paint on site.

This rebated featheredge board is kiln dried to a specific moisture content suited to external cladding, then preservative treated to Use Class 3.1, which carries a 15 year warranty against fungal decay and insect attack. It's worth noting that this warranty covers the timber treatment itself rather than the life of the paint coating, so the painted finish should still be expected to weather over time like any exterior coating.

Q-Clad rebated featheredge is sold in bundles of 4, with Grey and White supplied at 3.9m lengths and Black at 4.5m lengths. Each board measures 32 x 175mm, with a 23mm thick edge tapering to a 6mm thin edge, covering 155mm once overlapped. One board in Grey or White covers approximately 0.605 sqm, while the 4.5m Black board covers approximately 0.698 sqm, both figures including the overlap, which helps when calculating quantities for a cladding job.

Installation and maintenance
