Worcester Timber Products is delighted to have supplied fencing for a community project about mental health awareness. The No Offence Fence has been in Cathedral Square, opposite Worcester Cathedral where passers by are actively encouraged to leave positive messages and affirmations graffitied on the fence panels. Our team answered a plea for some fencing to be used for this project and have been so happy to be involved with the initiative, partnering in Worcester with Artists Clubhouse and HWHCT Together We Can to raise awareness of mental health.
The No Offence Fence is part of a free, outdoor public art trail across the city centre from the 1st to the 31st May 2021.You can also access a range of art sessions and workshops from painting, mindfulness sewing and activities for the family. Now We’re Talking with Art is a new campaign spreading positivity, highlighting mental health support and encouraging people to get out, exercise and support local businesses too. Organised by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, which provides mental health services across both counties, the Now We’re Talking with Art campaign has enlisted the support of a range of local partners, including businesses, art groups and local councils.
Emily Johnson, Founder of the Artists Clubhouse said “The last 12 months have been really tough, and we hope the Now We’re Talking with Art campaign will bring a bit of brightness back into our lives”
