DELIVERY & COLLECTION

As a family business, we pride ourselves on providing dedicated customer service. Almost all deliveries are made using our own fleet of vehicles and drivers, giving us more control, and providing a high service level you deserve. As most of our products are large, bulky and heavy, it is rare that we are able to use third party couriers and our delivery service is dedicated to certain zones only.  If your postcode is not listed, we may be able to offer delivery subject to a minimum order value.

Please note:

  • Our delivery is a non-pallet delivery service.  Delivery drivers are only insured to drop products off onto a kerb side or driveway and will generally not carry such items into or onto your property. This rule also applies to rear or side access or through garages. 
  • It is not compulsory for customers to be present during delivery; however, we will require a written authorisation for deliveries in your absence. Deliveries made in the customer's absence will be left in a safe and secure place wherever possible. The liability for the safety of products will be at the risk of the customer if deliveries are arranged in their absence.
  • Non pallet deliveries of heavy materials (any item over 25kgs) will require an able-bodied person present to help the driver off load. If this is not possible we will arrange for two people to undertake this delivery, and surcharges may apply.
  • Concrete posts and post mix may not be available for all delivery areas.  Our customer services team will be in contact to discuss.
  • We currently do not offer a National Pallet Delivery service, but happy to review and work with third party carriers subject to minimum order quantities.  Please contact us to discuss.
  • IMPORTANT: COVID -19 UPDATE: We are open for delivery and collection. We are working hard to fulfil all your timber and fencing needs, but a few changes have been made throughout our business and the wider supply chain to protect the health and wellbeing of all, which has and continues to impact our normal service levels. We are operating a contactless delivery service, and new procedures for collection have been introduced.  Face masks are mandatory when entering our premises. Lead times may be extended due to significant demand on supply chain, but our team are working tirelessly with our network to have what you need.  Detailed overview of the challenges in supply chain can be read here.  Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

 

TIMESCALES

Our aim is to fulfil all orders as quickly as possible. Our delivery services vary depending on product availability, manufacturing process, and seasonal demand.  The average delivery time is provided upon checkout process; however, we will endeavour to arrange deliveries sooner if at all possible. The timescales given reflect the current delivery target period offered and are subject to change without notice. 

DELIVERY ALLOCATION

We will allocate a day for delivery approximately three (3) days prior, but unfortunately, we cannot specify a time. Any approximate delivery times given are only as a guide and cannot be guaranteed; they may have to be altered by the driver depending upon the route he has to take, traffic and road traffic incidents, and the weight distribution on the vehicle.

COLLECTION

Customers are very welcome to collect orders from our manufacturing facility at Unit 6, Beech Drive, Hartlebury Trading Estate, Hartlebury, Kidderminster, DY10 4JB.

Please contact our customer services team to agree a suitable collection date and time, as not all items are available for immediate collection due to stock holding and made to order.

Our hours for collection are:

  • Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 15:30hrs
  • Friday: 08:30 – 14:30hrs
  • Saturday – Sunday: Not currently available

FAQs

How much does delivery cost?

Cost is calculated at the checkout via your postcode. Any area outside of our normal delivery zones may be possible, please call our customer service team to discuss your requirements.

How soon will your order be delivered?

Once your order has been placed you will be contacted by our customer service team to arrange a delivery date. If you need your order delivered before a certain date, please feel free to contact us before ordering to see if this can be arranged. We aim to deliver within 3 - 7 working days of the order being placed. Please note delivery times may be extended during weeks that contain Bank holidays, seasonal demand, or during the August and Christmas period when manufacturing supply chains close.

Where will your goods be left?

Delivery is kerbside, which means that we will leave your goods as close to the front of your property without them being on the pavement or road, for example a front lawn or driveway. We do not deliver to back gardens or inside homes.

When is delivery available?

We deliver between 08:00 & 17:00 on weekdays. We currently do not deliver on Weekends or Bank Holidays.

Can orders be collected?

Any order can be collected from our facility.  Please see the collection information on this page. Please select collection at the checkout. You will be contacted and given a collection date.

Do you need to be there to receive delivery?

It is always best if someone is there to accept the order, however we will deliver at your own risk if there is no one on site.

How will delivery be arranged?

Following receipt of your order our sales team will contact you within three days of delivery day to confirm. If we are unable to contact you or leave a message we will email you with the telephone number of the head office to contact us to arrange the delivery.

Will the driver assist me?

Our drivers will assist customers with safe and reasonable requests to offload materials at the point of delivery. The recipient of the delivery is responsible for additional lifting once the delivery has been made, and for heavy and bulky items we would require additional support from the customer to complete the delivery if social distancing rules can be applied safely. The driver has the final decision on what is safe and reasonable and if he decides it is unsafe or unreasonable our delivery will revert to kerbside only.
